Nokia is launching the Bluetooth plug-in car handsfree HF-6W. The new accessory plugs directly into a cigarrete lighter for power. The company says it offers exceptional audio clarity thanks to an array of four microphones and special software algorithms.
The Nokia Wireless Plug-in Car Handsfree supports Bluetooth Handsfree Profile. In addition to the basic speech functions such as answering a call, ending a conversation and adjusting the volume, the integrated features also include a retractable charger cable for compatible mobile phones. When charging is completed, remove the cable from the phone and it will automatically retract into the housing.
The new Nokia Wireless Plug-in Car Handsfree HF-6W is expected to be available in Europe, Asia and the US from the second quarter of 2005.
