Kameleon Mobile Technologies enter point server market with Bluetooth based Blue Spot
Blue Spots can be placed in theaters, retail stores, point of sale displays, and outdoor billboard locations, distributing product and services information via Bluetooth to users running the company's client application.

The Kameleon Mobile Technologies solution appeals to consumers by taking advantage of their always present mobile phone and wireless technologies, like Bluetooth.

The Blue Spots are placed strategically in the environment, like shipping centres or theatres, where advertisers can reach these customers in an interactive way. The distribution is permission based, since the user must have Bluetooth enabled on their mobile phones, and be running the client application.

Blue Spots can be battery-powered for a two-year lifetime. The platform offers not only a way to reach customers at or near the point of purchase, but also a way to track usage. The "clicks" made by the user's mobile can be tracked and audited to build profiles and judge the effacacy and appeal of any particular mobile campaign created. In addition campaigns are easy to modify and update with Kameleon's easy to use software.
