With ThunderHawk, browsing the Web on a Smartphone is similar to browsing on the desktop because ThunderHawk includes functionality that enhances the user experience, including a faster scrolling, increased browsing speed and multiple viewing options.
As an added benefit of the proxy based browsing platform, the software offers seamless connectivity: a dropped connection is re-established immediately, along with any data previously entered.
To support organisations deploying their own servers, the new version supports proxy authentication. In addition to the security and flexibility benefits for corporations, ThunderHawk 2.0 Enterprise Server Edition for Smartphones includes a new, fully-configured appliance, where Bitstream provides both the software and the hardware for purchase. The advantage of this turnkey appliance is that the server software comes preconfigured so there is less of a burden on the enterprise IT department during the installation process.
New users are able to test the software by downloading the 30-day free trial, while current ThunderHawk subscribers can download ThunderHawk 2.0.
