Motorola will release the RAZR mobile phone on CDMA networks, according to an announcement made during the CTIA Wireless 2005. The RAZR will be initially released in Asia.
The RAZR comes with 5MB memory, and a remixable MIDI ringer software called MOTOMIXER. It can be personalised through downloadable themes, 3D Picture Show and 3D Phone Book.
The phone can playback MPEG4 video clips, while the 0.3 megapixel VGA Camera with 4 x digital zoom can take pictures in different user-selectable sizes, including 160 x 120 pixels, 320 x 240 pixels and 640 x 480 pixels.
Dimensions are 3.86 x 2.08 x .54 inches ((h x w x d) and weight is only 3.35 ounces.
Additionally, three new CDMA handsets expand the Motorola line-up. The MS550 with a 3-megapixel digital camera, the V323, featuring a large color display targeting the mass market, and the V266p with push-to-talk features.
