SBC Yahoo! DSL and dial subscribers to have 2GB e-mail storage
Posted on 26-Mar-2005 10:58 | Tags Filed under: News

SBC Communications Inc. and Yahoo! Inc. are planning to upgrade for no additional charge the email storage capacity for SBC Yahoo! DSL and Dial subscribers.

Beginning in early May, SBC Yahoo! customers will have 2 gigabytes (GB) of storage for each of their 10 available email sub-accounts, as well as their main email account, bringing the total potential storage capacity for a family or small business to 22 gigabytes.

This change is part of recently disclosed Yahoo!'s plans to increase storage in free Yahoo! webmail inboxes to 1GB, and 2GB to paid subscribers.
