FonixVoiceCentral 3.0 for Pocket PC
Fonix VoiceCentral 3.0 is an interactive software application for Windows Mobile Pocket PC devices that provides users with "hands-free, eyes-free" device management. Users dial contacts and access information simply by speaking.

"Fonix VoiceCentral has always been designed to offer users easy access and management of information on handheld devices," said Tim K. Hong, Fonix VP of Mobile/Wireless. "As device capabilities increase, and users are able to add more music, photos and video to devices, speech recognition becomes a 'must have' interface to avoid tedious menus and button pushing. Fonix is working to make the next version of VoiceCentral even more functional for advanced multimedia management."

Fonix VoiceCentral 3.0 allows users to create voice e-mail messages, create user commands, add a contact when a number is dialed and more. IT also provides text-to-speech interface allowing users to have their e-mails read aloud, while in the car for example.

The new version offers an improved user interface, including additional menus for more control and alphabetic search buttons to quickly find contacts or applications.

The new version also provides improved text-to-speech (TTS) voices, optimised for greater clarity and intelligibility, increasing usability in noisy environments.
