Information Appliance Associates (IAA) is announcing the new release of PocketMac for Play Station Portable.

"We're incredibly excited," said Terence Goggin, CTO of Information Appliance Associates. "After 4 months of engineering and testing, we're proud to release this unique tool that for the first time gives Mac users the ability to sync with PSP handhelds”.

PocketMac for PSP extends the popular PocketMac technology to this new device, allowing users to synchronize Contacts, Music and Photos directly from from within iPhoto to a Play Station portable.

Contacts are synchronised as compact images. The program supports synchronisation of data from Microsoft Entourage and Apple’s OS X Address Book.

Goggin continued, “With PocketMac for PSP, Mac users can do more than PC users can. With the unique patent-pending ability to sync contacts to their PSP, music from iTunes and pictures from iPhoto, there’s nothing a Mac-based PSP user can’t do.

The program syncs directly over USB cable or through memory stick
