Windows Mobile User Group - Wellington: meeting 05 May 2005
We have now details about the next meeting of our Windows Mobile User Group - Wellington. Please remember to register and confirm your presence!

Agenda:
6:00 pm Bringing Windows Mobile devices to market for a major telco (Antonios Karantze, former Windows Mobile Product Manager for O2 in the UK)
6:30 pm Upcoming changes to the Windows Mobile platform (Nathan Mercer, Microsoft NZ)
6:45 pm Q & A
7:00 pm Prizes, Drinks and nibbles
8:00 pm Wrap up

Antonios Karantze was (until recently) the Windows Mobile Product Manager for O2 in the UK. O2 is one of the largest mobile carriers in the UK and leads the way with Windows Mobile device deployment. Antonios was responsible for leading the company to bring Windows Mobile PocketPC Phone Edition and Smartphone devices to market for O2.

Nathan Mercer is a Technical Specialist for Microsoft NZ specialising in infractructure technologies. Nathan has a special interest in Windows Mobile.

After these sessions, there will be a general Q&A session where we encourage you to ask questions and talk further about more specific scenarios.
