Soti releases Pocket Controller Professional 5.0 for Pocket PC and Smartphone
SOTI has released Pocket Controller-Professional 5.0, the latest version of their software to view and control Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Smartphone, and other Windows CE based devices from a desktop computer.

Recently added features include:

  • File Synchronization - Synchronize important files/folders between your Mobile Device and a desktop computer; no matter where they are located. Create a synchronization schedule, or synchronize manually over an ActiveSync or TCP/IP wireless or wired connection.
  • Smartphone Support - Enhanced data entry support, and improved performance, as well as support for a broader range of devices. Added a desktop virtual touch screen that allows you to click on menus as if the device had a touch screen.
  • Skins - Pocket Controller-Professional 5.0 has more skins, for more devices. There are also mouse-over tips, hotspot cursors and more zoom levels. If that's not enough, we have also added support for device screen rotation and VGA devices.
  • Enhanced User Interface - New user interface with selectable themes, and configurable toolbars.
  • File Explore Tool - Right click on files and folders and choose Properties to get summary information such as total file size and file attributes. Change device file/folder attributes from your desktop using the Explore tool. Double-click on .ini, .log, and .txt files located on your device from the Explore window to launch them directly into Notepad. Search for files on your device by name, size, or date with the new Search Tool.
  • Shortcut Manager - Shortcuts for many commonly used functions have been added as well as a new Shortcut Manager tool to control which keys are sent to the device
