Web IS introduces Pocket Informant 2005 to support Windows Mobile 5
Web Information Solutions, Inc. is introducing its Pocket Informant 2005 software package to support Microsoft Windows Mobile 5 software for Pocket PCs and Smartphones at the Microsoft Mobile Developer Conference today in Las Vegas.

Web Information Solutions’ flagship product, Pocket Informant, is a personal information management (PIM) software tool designed to enhance the built-in Windows Mobile PIM applications with a single integrated and robust application. This tool gives users the ability to view, customize and use data in ways that best fit their needs. Version 2005 features include a new Contact Pictures list, a Project Timeline View, image scaling to support QVGA through VGA displays using any size icon, and many more.

Pocket Informant Version 2005 for Windows Mobile 5 will be available this year and is currently in testing. Some of the most prominent features and benefits of Windows Mobile 5 support include support for the Windows Mobile 5 Soft Key menu system as a user option within the main views; support for the new Windows Mobile 5 Picture Picker and Camera functionality; full support for the new Contact Pictures within contacts feature.
