Everyone.net launches push e-mail for palmOne Treo

Posted on 26-May-2005 08:25 | Filed under: News

Everyone.net is targeting small business owners and people on the move with its push e-mail solution that instantly delivers all their newest messages to their palmOne Treo 600 or 650 phone.

Everyone.net's new push e-mail capability uses IMAP email protocol and Treo client email software from ChatterEmail. It works with any of Everyone.net's Personal, Business and Mail Plus email packages which include IMAP, and is designed for individuals and small businesses without big IT budgets or technical staff.

Services start at US$34.95 a year for the lowest-cost hosted email service, plus a one-time US$35 fee for ChatterEmail client email software on the Treo 600 or Treo 650 phone.

As a hosted service provider, Everyone.net's technical team keeps the service up and running, so clients' staff don't have to divert attention to a non-core issue.

The packages include a company's own domain name; web email with a company's own look and feel; integrated anti-spam and virus protection with advanced rules; shared group and individual address books; up to 1 GB standard storage per mailbox; unlimited email aliases.
