palmOne and Optus bring mobile e-mail service to Australian corporate customers
palmOne, Inc. and Optus, an Australian mobile operator, are offering an integrated corporate email package on the Treo 650 smartphone. The solution, called MobileMail, allows mobile executives and staff to wirelessly access and manage their email while on the move.

John Simon, acting managing director Optus Business, said, "The Treo 650 from palmOne is a truly converged device, as it successfully combines voice and data in one handheld unit. With the MobileMail service from Optus on the Treo 650, corporate users no longer have to return to the office to access their email."

The Treo 650 smartphone and MobileMail service is available from Optus in Australian on a range of plans and flexible payment options.
