Hitachi hints a new palmOne Lifedrive will use its new 6GB microdrive

The Spanish site Canalpda.com reported that Hitachi Spain has issued a press release with details of its new 6GB (gigabytes) microdrive hard disc and at the same time made it public that palmOne will be using this new disc in a PDA being developed.
Currently palmOne has a model with a 4GB internal hard drive, the palmOne Lifedrive
According to Hitachi, the Microdrives are compatible with CF II industry standard and have a 7-Mbps sustained data transfer rate. Their average seek time is 12 ms and they are compatible with FAT32 file system.
The Toshiba Microdrives are available in 2GB, 4GB and 6GB capacities for storing large quantities of high-resolution digital pictures or up to 75 hours of CD-quality audio.
