Electrovaya launches Scribbler SC 3000 Tablet PC
Electrovaya Inc. is introducing their new lightweight .75" thin Scribbler SC 3000 Tablet PC. The Scribbler 3000 has a battery run time of up to 9 hours, with Electrovaya's SuperPolymer Lithium-ion 75 Wh battery, and utilizes the Intel Centrino mobile technology with low voltage processor running at 1.5 GHz with 2MB L2.

The SC 3000 comes with an Intel PRO/Wireless 2915ABG network connection (802.11a/b/g) wireless module, an integrated biometric device for fingerprint recognition, and a new Toshiba Wide Viewing Angle Display.

The company sees the new Tablet PC being used in the education, healthcare industries, sales force automation, and other industry verticals.

This new Tablet PC comes with dual array microphone system, 12.1 inch pressure sensitive screen, and a light sensor that adjusts screen-to-environment brightness.

Two models are available, including a complete Premium Unit (768MB RAM, 60GB HDD, keyboard stand with touchpad, wirestand and case) and a Base Unit (256MB RAM, 40GB HDD) that allows customers to add optional items as required.
