With 32 MB integrated dynamic internal memory the Sony Ericsson V600i comes with a TFT LCD (176 x 220 pixels) capable of showing 262,144 TFT colours. The integrated digital camera can capture still images with a resolution up to 1,280 x 1,024 pixels or record video with resolution up to 176 x 144 pixels. It includes a 4x digital zoom feature.

Video calls can be made if both parties to the call have videotelephony-capable mobile phones and UMTS network coverage.

Users can synchronise the V600i with a PC (Microsot Outlook, Lotus Notes or SyncML) through IrDa, USB and Bluetooth.

The phone is initially available in Germany, with a price tag of EUR 49.50 in connection with a term contract and the UMTS Per-Minute Plus Package 200, and it costs EUR 89.50 in connection with the conclusion of a contract with the UMTS Per-Minute Plus Package 100 tariff. If no mobile phone contract is concluded, the phone costs EUR 599.00.
