Mint Telecom brings hassle-free VoIP services
Posted on 8-Jul-2005 12:06 | Tags Filed under: News

Mint Telecom is offering a prepaid VoIP (Voice Over IP) service that allows users to place long distance and international phone calls using VoIP technology, from any telephone line.

When signing up to the Mint Telecom service the user selects a personal local number to have access to the service. The user can manager her account through any web browser and assign a final destination phone number to this personal access. The service is prepaid, so the user donít have to worry about running high bills.

When the user wants to place a phone call Ė long distance or international, she just dials her local number and the call will be routed through Mint Telecomís VoIP network to the destination. The user pays only the service on a minute basis, although some local charges may apply if using a mobile phone for example.

With cell phones and PDAs that have internet access users can manage their account "on the go" by simply logging into the Mint mobile URL, and instantly changing the international number they would like to connect to, clicking on okay and dialing their Mint number.
