DataViz releases RoadSync for Palm OS
DataViz, Inc. is shipping its new 168684 RoadSync for Palm solution.

Based on the Exchange ActiveSync protocol licensed from Microsoft, RoadSync is the first commercially available software solution to provide secure, wireless and direct synchronization with Exchange Server 2003, thereby extending the existing mobile benefits of Exchange Server 2003 to reach non-Microsoft devices such as the palmOne Treo 600 and 650 smartphones.

RoadSync for Palm Powered devices offers access to corporate Outlook e-mail, complete with attachments.

The software is the first commercially available solution based on Microsoft’s Exchange ActiveSync technology to provide direct synchronization with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 for non-Windows Mobile devices.

This new technology eliminates the need for additional middleware servers, desktop redirectors and service fees.
