More images are now available showing the new Motorola Q, a thin (11.5mm) light QWERTY-enabled Windows Mobile Smartphone.
The Q features Motorola's RAZR-thin design including electro-luminescent keys and a compact "antenna-inside" shape. Motorola Q also hosts a large colour screen with 320 x 240 pixels (65K colours TFT), Internet capabilities, and a 1.3 mega pixel camera with flash. It also comes with dual, stereo-quality speakers, supporting iMelody, MIDI, MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA, WAX, QCELP formats.
In addition to these features, the Motorola Q features a speakerphone for conference calls, voice-activated dialing, and Bluetooth functionality. Memory can be expanded with mini-SD cards.
The company did not disclose more specific details on which operators will bring this smart device to the market. The Moto Q is expected to be available in Q1 2006 and no prices are known.
