IBM to start podcasting

IBM has posted the inaugural podcast in a series called "IBM and The Future Of ..."., which will be available from its investor web site.

The first in the series, "IBM and The Future of Driving," will explore how technology is changing the way cars are built, driven, maintained and insured. The first podcast will be hosted by Ben Edwards and include a discussion with Jim Ruthven of IBM's Automotive Software unit and Dr. Roberto Sicconi of IBM Research, a leader in the fields of telematics and voice recognition.

IBM's new podcast series will expand on the traditional historical investor web site content by discussing both industry-wide trends and IBM specific innovations in a variety of emerging business and technology areas.

Future topics will include "IBM and The Future Of ..." shopping, healthcare, innovation, banking, supply and demand, and the home.
