Windows Mobile User Group - Wellington: meeting 18 August 2005
We now have the details for our next Wellington Windows Mobile User Group meeting.

Date: Thursday 18 August 2005
Time: 6pm (until around 8pm)

Where:
Microsoft, Mobil on the Park, Lambton Quay

Agenda:
6:00 pm Converged Rugged Pocket PC devices (Gary Rogers, Telecom New Zealand)
6:30 pm .Net CF 2.0 overview (Darryl Burling, Microsoft NZ)
6:50 pm Q & A
7:00 pm Prizes, drinks and nibbles
8:00 pm Wrap up

Gary Rogers works with Telecom Advanced Solutions/Gen-i and is responsible for mobile data. He will be showing us some new ruggedised Windows Mobile devices that connect to Telecom New Zealand's CDMA network.

Darryl Burling is a Developer Envangelist for Microsoft NZ.

After these sessions, there will be a general Q&A session where we encourage you to ask questions and talk further about more specific scenarios.

During the prizes we will introduce a Windows Mobile Developers Contest sponsored by Geekzone and Handango (with other two sponsors to be confirmed). More details during the meeting!
