Software for Symbian Smartphones Prompts Follow-up Calls
The InTouch software for Symbian Series 60 smartphones, from Hancheeft, is a reminder utility that enables users to schedule a phone call and get reminded with a sound alert when the scheduled time is achieved. New to this software is the unique ability to schedule a call immediately after a phone talk is over.

InTouch pops up a prompt asking the users whether they want to schedule a follow-up call to the contact. The same prompt pops up when the contact number is busy and a call is not answered. Users can then schedule a repeat call at a later time and get reminded again. Along with outgoing calls, InTouch provides this prompt for all received and missed incoming calls.

InTouch is a software companion for the phone owner who doesn't want to forget about important phone calls. The software can be used instead of juggling calls, contacts and dates on paper or in your head.

Scheduling a call is easy. If you are doing it from the phonebook, you need to select a phone number from the contact list, specify the time and date or time period, subject of the call and a reminder type, either a sound alert or a popup reminder.

The subject can be entered as a free text or selected from the set of templates which include "Hello", "Ask for appointment", and others. The database of schedules is searchable and you can search for a schedule based on such criteria as name, number, start time, end time, start date, and end date. All settings related to scheduling, alarm, and search can be customized to your preferences.

  • Schedule a new call reminder after an incoming or outgoing call;
  • Schedule a new call reminder to redial a busy or unanswered call;
  • Schedule immediately after going offline or anytime from the phonebook;
  • Searchable database of scheduled calls;
  • Alarms you with a due call and gives you the choice to complete the call, snooze it or delete it permanently;
  • Customize reminder subject templates.

    InTouch runs under Symbian OS and is available for Nokia Series 60 smartphones, including Nokia 3650, Nokia 6260, Nokia 6600, Nokia 6630, Nokia 6670, Nokia 7610, Nokia 7650, Nokia N-Gage, and compatibles including the Panasonic X700, Siemens SX1 and Sendo X.
