Handmark and The Associated Press Sign Content Distribution Agreement
Handmark has signed a content distribution agreement with The Associated Press. AP will provide news, photos, stock quotes and sports information for use in Handmark software applications, which will be delivered across a wide range of mobile platforms.

The first Handmark implementation with AP content will be the Pocket Express wireless news and information bundle, which will be expanded to include up to 12 news categories including U.S. and world news, business, technology and strange news. Many stories will feature related photos.

Pocket Express is available for a variety of wireless capable devices including for Palm PDAs and Treo Smartphones, Windows Mobile Pocket PCs and Smartphones, BlackBerry, and Java “features phones”.

Handmark also plans to feature AP content on a future application update available free of charge to all existing Pocket Express subscribers.
