Motricity to Power Fossil Wrist PDA Software Store
When everyone around is thinking the Palm OS based Fossil wrist PDA is being discontinued, Motricity announces support to a software store aimed at users of these devices. Motricity has announced it will power Fossil's Wrist PDA software store, providing Fossil Wrist PDA customers an assortment of 3rd party add-on software titles designed to extend the abilities of their Wrist PDA.

The Fossil Wrist PDA, is a Palm Powered watch, and comes with 8MB of memory, allowing storage of thousands of contacts, calendar entries, to do lists, memos and more. It runs the Palm OS 4.1.2 with a 160x160 pixel display, backlight and touch screen.

The Watch Mode of the Wrist PDA allows the user to select from an assortment of different time and date displays when not in PDA mode.

The new software store, powered by technology from Motricity's PalmGear.com, will offer from games to productivity add-ons, specially designed for the Wrist PDA.

"Addition of third party mobile content is a great way to help customers get the most out of their mobile devices," said Larry Wallace, Vice President of Business Development, Motricity. "We are very happy to be Fossil's choice for powering its Wrist PDA Software Store and are excited to offer Fossil customers a broad range of software choices for their Wrist PDA experience."
