Jabra and Cingular have announced the availability of the Jabra C220s stereo headset, providing stereo sound quality for the new Motorola ROKR, the world's first mobile phone with iTunes compatibility.

The Jabra C220s stereo headset plugs directly into the Motorola ROKR, allowing users to listen to music while never missing a call. The headset is equipped with an in-line microphone for clear voice pick-up and features a call-answer/call-end feature. The Jabra C220s is sold separately and manufactured exclusively for use with the new Motorola ROKR handset.

"The C220s provides crystal clear stereo sound quality to the increasing number of consumers who want the dual functionality of cell phone use while enjoying music. Our partnership with Cingular allows Motorola ROKR users the convenience of seamless transfer between calls and music streams," said David Hogan, Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing for Jabra. "As more mobile phones are being treated as multimedia devices, it is increasingly important that stereo headsets offer not only superb sound quality but ease-of-use. The Jabra C220s offers consumers this enhanced experience."

The Jabra C220s is now available in Cingular stores with a suggested retail price of US$34.99.
