Posted on 11-Oct-2005 10:18 | Tags Filed under: News

Quickoffice, Inc. has announced a licensing agreement with Nokia that will include Quickoffice on the Series 60 Platform offering, providing users of Series 60 smartphones with access to native Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files.

The combination of the Series 60 functionality with the Quickoffice software will offer users the ability to open, view, edit and print Office documents directly from their Series 60 smartphone.

Quickoffice Premier is the company's flagship smartphone software product. The software design also includes the ability for end-users to receive future value-added applications to meet the evolving needs in the market.

The Series 60 Platform, built on the Symbian OS is licensed by many mobile phone manufacturers including Lenovo, LG Electronics, Nokia, Panasonic, Samsung, and Siemens.
