DataViz Releases Documents To Go for Nokia 9300 Smartphone and Nokia 9500 Communicator
DataViz, Inc. has made its mobile office suite, Documents To Go, available for the Symbian OS based Series 80 platform. With the addition of this newly supported platform, DataViz' Documents To Go product line now includes support for three smartphone platforms, including Symbian OS based UIQ, Series 80 and Palm OS.

This Series 80 version has received Symbian-Signed certification and provides owners of both the Nokia 9300 smartphone and Nokia 9500 Communicator with the ability to open, view and edit Microsoft Word and Excel files.

DataViz' InTact Technology is built-in to provide complete original document integrity when Microsoft Office files are edited by users on the smartphone. This is especially vital when desktop documents containing complex formatting and layouts are editing in a mobile environment. With InTact Technology, users can confidently edit documents on their smartphone without fear of negatively altering any of a file's rich formatting. Any edits made in Documents To Go will be intelligently merged with a file's original formatting to create an updated document that can than be e-mailed or exchanged with others directly from the smartphone.

In addition to InTact Technology, Documents To Go for Series 80 boasts a number of key features designed to help users quickly locate information and effortlessly make edits and create new documents. These features include support for embedded images and tables in Word files; ability to view and edit existing comments, footnotes and endnotes in Word files; support for 111 of the most commonly-used Excel functions and TrueType font support.
