Over one thousand overseas US soldiers will receive a "thank you" gift from DreamQuest Software. This is the result of their "Support the Troops" drive.
Launched on Memorial Day in the US, the game company's campaign pledged to donate one DQ Fun Pack, consisting of their card & board game software, deck of playing cards, and thank you note, for every purchase made on their web site through 31 July 2005.
According to the husband-and-wife owners, Christopher and Cynthia Williamson, the campaign quickly met and exceeded its goal to donate 1,000 games.
These games are playable on Windows and mobile devices including Palm, Pocket PCs. The DQ Fun Packs will be distributed by the United Service Organization (USO) to soldiers overseas.
