Chapura, Inc., has released Call Log+ for the Palm Treo 650 smartphone, to help improve the accuracy of the customer’s contact management by more effectively using the information captured in the built-in call log and offering additional conversation-tracking tools.
Call Log+ software lets Treo 650 owners take notes on their smartphone during or after a phone call and keep track of these conversations on their PC desktop by synchronizing the call log and associated notes with Outlook Journal entries, linking them to the corresponding Outlook Contacts.
The Call Log+ application on the Treo 650 reads and displays the built-in, carrier-specific call log database for incoming, outgoing and missed phone calls, including name, number, date, time, duration and roaming status.
Mapping a phone Favorites button or hardware button to Call Log+ easily integrates the application into everyday use.
Tapping on a phone number in Call Log+ for the Treo 650 lets the customer create or edit a note about a current or past phone conversation and automatically attaches the note to that call.
Synchronization of Call Log+ for the Treo 650 with the PC creates or updates an Outlook Journal entry for each call and links the entry to the corresponding Outlook Contact. The call then appears on that linked contact’s Activities list for easy tracking of past phone conversations.
