Globalsat Announces Wrist Type GPS Receiver
The Globalsat GH-601 provides a fully-sealed, waterproof, large LCD wrist-watch device, as well as a GPS navigation function that locates and tracks points from start to stop.

It is aimed at people who practice outdoor sports, such as jogging, running, biking, snow skiing, etc. It also can be used as GPS receiver via its USB interface.

Powered by a SiRFStar III high performance GPS chipset, it provides high sensitivity for position fixing even with a weak signal status.

The device has a built-in rechargeable high capacity lithium-ion battery providing 16 hours use with GPS on and compass and altimeter turned off. A large LCD measuring 24.9mm x 39.88mm provides easy reading of the information available.

Users can record the track history and transfer to a Windows based PC for use with a training management system.
