Fifth Media Sdn. Bhd. has announced the new AXIA A308 PDA Phone, which will be introduced during the CeBIT 2006 exhibition in Hannover.

A GSM quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) device with support for GPRS and EDGE cellular data networks, the AXIA 308 also features Wifi connectivity and Bluetooth.

It is also the world’s smallest PDA Phone running on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, measuring 20.8 (D) X 48.8 (W) X 113.3 (L) mm weighing only 128g. Its removable (rechargeable) 1500mAh Li-Polymer battery can provide up to 4 hours talktime or 120 hours standby.

This new device is based on an Intel PXA272 CPU running at 416 MHz and comes with 128MB flash memory and 64MB RAM. The touchscreen display is a small 2.2” Transflective (TFT) LCD 262K with 240 x 320 resolution.

Memory can be expanded with the use of miniSD flash memory cards.
