Vodafone Confirms Talks to Sell Japanese Operation

Vodafone Plc issued a short press statement in which the company confirms rumours that it is planning to sell its Japanese subsidiary, Vodafone K.K.

According to the note, Vodafone Plc is conducting discussions regarding a potential sale of a controlling interest in Vodafone Japan to SoftBank. The company says these discussions may or may not lead to a transaction.
