Posted on 10-Mar-2006 21:38 by Tony Hughes | Tags Filed under: News

Telecom New Zealand Ltd has announced its plans to roll out ADSL2 broadband services to New Zealanders mid-way through 2006.

With speeds of up to 24Mbps (megabits per second), it will eclipse todays consumer broadband speeds of 2Mbps (which are already nearly doubling to 3.5Mbps in April 2006).

At time of writing, it is not currently know where the rollout will begin.
