Sprint customers can now reach out to more friends with the latest service being provided by the operator. The Text to Landline service lets customers send text messages to any landline phone in the United States, where they will then be converted to a voice message for the recipient.
Text to Landline is available to all Sprint customers with two-way text-messaging-capable phones. To use, customers simply enter a 10-digit landline phone number and type a message, just as they would when sending a regular text message. The recipient's phone will ring, and when answered, the text message will be automatically read to them.
Recipients can reply with a preset text message response or by recording a voice response. Standard text-messaging rates apply.
