Dell Australia/New Zealand has announced the availability of the Latitude D520. The new model D520 is targeted at small/medium businesses and schools.
This D series laptop supports dual batteries and is compatible with all existing Latitude batteries, docking stations, optical drives and power adapters since 2003.
The D520 offers:
-- Support for 802.11n Wifi standard
-- Magnesium alloy chassis
-- Support for EU restriction of hazardous substances directive

-- 512MB to 4GB of DDR2 533/667Mhz RAM
-- 14.1" display, or 15.1" XGA (1,040x768)/(1024x766) or SXGA (1,400x1050)
-- 40,60,80 or 100GB HDD
-- Second 80GB HDD
-- 24x CDROM / 8x DVDROM / 24x CDRW/DVDROM / 8x DVDRW(+/-)
-- Dell Wireless 1390 802.11b/g or Intel PRO Wireless 3945 802.11a/b/g or Dell Wireless 1490 802.11a/b/g11
