Skype has introduced a change on the service's terms that allow calls made within the USA and Canada to any phones to be free until the end of 2006.
Free calls are available for Skype-to-Skype or for Skype-to landline or mobile phone.
The calls are free as long as the user is calling from within the USA or Canada to a USA or Canadian phone number.
Users outside the USA or Canada, or calling outside these two countries can still use Skype Credits (SkypeOut) to make international calls at reduced rates.
