SBSH Mobile Software, LTD. and Web Information Solutions inc. announced a new branding for SBSH Papyrus as Pocket Informant for SmartPhone (PISP) devices. The new PISP version will be offered on WebIS online store and distribution channels where as SBSH Mobile Software will continue to product distribution using the Papyrus brand name.

With upcoming Papyrus/PISP updates we will focus on porting many of the powerful features Pocket Informant offers today for Pocket PC users, allowing users to use the same advanced features on their SmartPhone and vice-versa, making the transition of information much easier" stated Amit Regev, SBSH Mobile Software CEO.
Additionally, both companies announced a new major update for Papyrus/PISP to version 1.3, featuring major work on user-experience aspects for SmartPhone devices with landscape screens and QWERTY keyboard (e.g. Motorola Q, Samsung i320), complete re-design of the monthly view display and much more.
The software has been completely redesigned for use on landscape and portrait screens. Additional improvement made for all input fields that will automatically operate both on regular Windows Mobile Smartphone devices and devices equipped with a QWERTY keyboard.
Monthly display was redesigned to take maximum advantage of screen real estate on each device unique specifications, allowing users with QVGA or landscape screens to view up to 8 different category icons within each day on the display, optionally view both category icons and timelines on each day, new task flag added marking days including tasks and more.
