Followap announces iFollow v2.2
Posted on 4-Apr-2003 07:57 | Tags Filed under: News

iFollow v2.2 is being rolled out to Followap customers starting April 2003, achieving the largest Wireless-Village (OMA IMPS) footprint in the industry. Followap is closely cooperating with leading handset manufacturers to ensure seamless interoperability of Wireless-Village enabled devices with iFollow v2.2.

"We are extremely pleased with the strong support of leading handset manufacturers -of the Wireless-Village standards", said Toby Korall, Director of Product Marketing. "We believe that mass market availability of Wireless-Village handsets will drive the success of Presence-aware services. Through active participation in OMA and direct cooperation with handset manufacturers, we continuously ensure that iFollow products are interoperable with all Wireless-Village devices, as they become available. We are excited that in 2003 Wireless-Village is being transformed from vision to reality."
