Fujitsu Develops Small Transmitter Module for CDMA Mobile Phones
Fujitsu Media Devices Limited (FMD) has developed the T0212AZ0836, which the company says is the world's smallest high-performance transmitter module for CDMA mobile phones. Fujitsu Media Devices will start to supply samples this October.

This new module provides greater density, so that the module can fits on an area of 8.0mm x 5.0mm (1.4mm height).

The total area is reduced by about 30% when compared to alternative development methods, such as using all of its discrete components.

Fujitsu Media Devices plan to start shipping samples with prices from US$10 and targets the production of 1 million pieces per month in January 2007.
