The three companies will act together to complement their offerings in countries where they work. TIM (based in Italy), T-Mobile (based in Germany) and Telefonica (based in Spain) have more than 160 million mobile customers together around the world in all markets they opperate.
The new alliance will create a unified product line, alowing for voice, data and internet access across their network, with seamless roaming for their users.
Their customer base, together is spread like this (million customers): Europe (98.3), Eastern Europe ( 14.4), Latin America (36.6), U.S.A. (9.9) and Mediterraneo (2.8).
The three companies are open to more operators joining the club.
