Agopc has released its version of Ultra Mobile PCs, the ago7, touting its capabilities to connect to cellular data networks such as EDGE and CDMA EV-DO through it Bluetooth wireless interface.
The ago7 is a small communications device, but as a Microsoft-spec UMPC, it runs the same Windows XP applications used on a desktop or laptop PC.
The company says it is the lowest-priced UMPC currently available, at US$799 in the U.S. The specifications include 512MB RAM, 40GB HDD, 7-inch touchscreen interface, Wi-Fi connectivity, two USB ports, all in addition to the Bluetooth wireless technology
