OtterBox is set to release a ruggedised case specifically made for the Palm Treo devices series, including the Treo 650, Treo 700w and Treo 700p models.
Available in Otter’s signature colors, yellow and black, the OtterBox 1920 completely seals the device from the elements while providing access to keypad, touch screen, volume and program buttons.
The new case is waterproof, dustproof, drop and crush protection, and allows charge and sync through the case. The phone part of those devices is also usable through the case.
The OtterBox 1920 Treo Case will be available from mid November, but the company is accepting pre orders now.
The company is also planning to release similar cases for other handheld and entertainment devices. The OtterBox 1930 rugged case accommodates Research In Motion (RIM) BlackBerry 8700c and 8700g models and the OtterBox 1940 accommodates BlackBerry 7200 series models. The OtterBox for iPod nano 2nd generation will also be available soon.
