Telecom New Zealand, Qualcomm and Lucent Technologies are introducing the first annual NZ 3G A-list awards, honouring mobility at work.
The inaugural New Zealand 3G A-List Awards will acknowledge companies, public agencies, and non-profit organizations for their best-of-class mobility implementations. Nominations can be submitted by a qualifying company, agency or non-profit; software or hardware provider, or outside consultant.
The awards program is open to organisations of all sizes and in various stages of deployment that use an array of devices including PC cards, PDAs, smartphones, telemetry modules, and mobile handset.
A-List Awards recognise the builders of successful wireless data solutions, applications and content based on 3G CDMA 2000 (CDMA2000 1X, EV-DO) technology. A-List solutions demonstrate creativity and exceed business objectives by introducing higher return on investment, lower operating expenses, or by creating an enhanced user experience.
The winner of the New Zealand 3G-Alist awards will receive a return trip to a major international wireless conference, including one return airfare, accommodation and registration fees, a Palm Treo CDMA Smartphone, and a video case study.
The closing date for applications is 26th February 2007.
