i-mate Introduce i-mate SPL Windows Mobile Smartphone
Mobile devices distributor i-mate is introducing its latest Windows Mobile-based Smartphone, the i-mate SPL. This thin (12 mm slim) device is designed to appeal to a wider audience that would benefit a smart device at a lower price point.

The i-mate SPL is designed to be an affordable Windows Mobile powered device. It is a GSM/GPRS tri-band device featuring 128MB ROM/64MB RAM, 65k 2.2' color LCD screen, MiniSD memory card expansion, integrated antenna and Bluetooth compatibility.

A complimentary 30-day trial version of i-mate Suite is pre-installed on the phone. i-mate Suite is i-mate's management solution for mobile devices that gives IT support in the field, safeguards data, and allows secure access and information transfers on the go.

Club i-mate, an online user community backed by the company, provides support and content to i-mate users, including 24/7 live multilingual support, software patches, device tutorials, current ROM upgrades, a free Hosted Exchange e-mail account and a wide variety of content including games, ring-tones and productivity software.
