Transcend Releases JetFlash 180 USB 2.0 Flash Drive Compatible with Windows Vista ReadyBoost
Transcend Information, Inc. has released a brand-new USB2.0 Flash Drive, the JetFlash 180, the first of the company's to come with a stainless steel body.

The JetFlash 180 measures 49.3 mm long by 15.4 mm wide, and thin (6.56 mm) so that it easily slides into tight-fitting stacked USB ports. It plugs into the USB port on any desktop, or notebook computer, for users to transfer, store, and share files. Each JetFlash 180 comes with a short chain, so it can be hooked to a key ring.

The JetFlash 180 is built using Hi-Speed SLC NAND-type Flash (Read 10~12MB/s, Write 8MB/s). In addition, the JetFlash 180 is compatible with the ReadyBoost technology, present in Microsoft Windows Vista, which not only can accelerate start and program running speed, but also can increase memory performance.

The JetFlash 180 also comes bundled with some software applications. including seven functions: AutoLogin, PC-Lock, Favorites, Secret-Zip, E-mail, DataBackup, and My JetFlash. Transcend's JetFlash 180 is compatible with Windows 98SE/2000/Me/XP and the new Windows Vista.

It is now available in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB capacities.
