Posted on 10-Jan-2007 12:01 | Filed under: News

MobiForms has announced the release of MobiForms 3.1, a release that now includes the new Deployment Wizard for Pocket PC, Windows CE and Windows Mobile. With the Deployment Wizard a user can manage the development of a mobile application from design right through to deployment on to the mobile device without having to worry about manually configuring files and settings.

New features also include SMTP email commands so that a mobile application can send emails directly from a button, and improved support for the Mysaifu and IBM J9 Java environments.

MobiForms is a rapid application development tool for building Java based mobile applications for almost any kind of mobile computer or PDA including Tablet PC, Pocket PC, Windows CE, Windows Mobile, EPOC, Symbian and Palm.

According to the company, MobiForms helps reducing the time used in the creation of mobile applications. With MobiForms users do not need to know how to code Java applications, but can develop professional applications for asset collection, field service, inspection, market research, site surveys, stock control or workshop repair by using the MobiForms drag and drop interface and tie the data back easily to corporate systems.
