Two Motorola Q models released for HSDPA and GPRS networks
Motorola has announced the expansion of its Q platform with the availability of MOTO Q q9 and MOTO Q gsm. Both devices run on Windows Mobile Standard platform.

MOTO Q q9 offers HSDPA connectivity, offering fast donwload speeds over cellular networks. A side-load removable microSD card compliments MOTO Q q9's 256MB of onboard memory. The device's screen display automatically adjusts to produce the best visual experience, indoor or out.

Users will be able to connect to laptops and desktops with its new USB 2.0 interface for full speed PC connectivity.

The MOTO Q gsm is similar, but limits the cellular connectivity to quad-band GPRS and EDGE only. Based on the Q design, the thin, lightweight MOTO Q gsm showcases a soft-touch metal casing, electro-luminescent keys, full color screen and optimised QWERTY keyboard and side thumb wheel.

Both MOTO Q q9 and MOTO Q gsm are also fully customisable, with over 300 applications optimised for Motorola and a full suite of accessories.

The MOTO Q q9 will be available in Q2 2007. MOTO Q gsm will be available in the second half of 2007.
