New Microsoft on-line marketplace to offer select software to Windows Mobile users
Posted on 13-Feb-2007 12:29 | Tags Filed under: News

Handango is working with Microsoft to support the new Windows Mobile Marketplace available on Windows Mobile 6, Microsoft's new mobile device software platform.

Premier content from Handango's catalog of Windows Mobile applications, including games and productivity software, will be accessible to consumers dreictly on their smart devices.

The Windows Mobile Marketplace icon is built into Windows Mobile devices running the new Windows Mobile 6 operating system, providing access to a library of smartphone content supported by Handango. Users can browse, try, purchase and download applications.

Handango says mobile operators have a chance to customize the product based on their customers' needs. If those needs are the customers' or the operators' this is yet to be seen.
