Dell is introducing the 926 Photo All-in-One Printer, a new inkjet printer with photo features for personal and small business users.
The Dell 926 combines high-resolution printing, media card reader, flat bed scanner and copier and PC send and receive fax capability in one compact form factor.
Dell has implemented an Ink Management System which automatically monitors printer usage, alerts the user when ink levels are low and provides hassle free on-line ordering of replacement ink and delivery to your door.
With this printer users can produce monochrome printouts at 20 pages per minute, and provide colour printouts at up to 15 pages per minute. Its 4800 x 1200 dpi print resolution provides professional looking printouts, and an optional Photo cartridge increases colour depth and accuracy, allowing a six colour photo process printing.
The integrated flatbed scanner scans media in 48-bit full color at up to 1200 x 2400 optical dpi (19,200 interpolated), and can scan directly into e-mails and other applications. Built in Optical Character Recognition software saves users' time by converting paper text documents into text files.
The Dell 926 can produce a proof sheet series of images, either from the PC or directly from a memory card or USB connected camera, allowing users to remove red eye, and choose the size and number of the images to print., creating a single sheet reference of photos for archiving.
The Photo AIO 926 available now in New Zealand, starting at NZ$159 delivered.
