Posted on 28-Feb-2007 19:40 by Juha | Tags Filed under: News

Lexar has launched what it claims is the fastest USB Flash drive in the business, the Jumpdrive Lightning 4GB. It is available from resellers in New Zealand now and features 140X (21MB/sec) minimum sustained write speed capability and 200X (30MB/sec) minimum sustained read speed capability.

Like all other Lexar products, JumpDrive Lightning 4GB is Windows Vista certified and Ready Boost compliant. It also provides advanced 256bit encryption software with file shredder to permanently delete for added security even if the drive is lost or stolen.

Availability and Pricing: The suggested retail price of Lexar JumpDrive Lightning 4GB is $199. From now, all Lexar products are available from Bond and Bond and Noel Leeming.

Geekzone has requested a review sample.
