Sharing broadband made possible with Tomizone and Orcon

Posted on 2-May-2007 12:20 | Filed under: News

Tomizone has just announced its first ISP affiliate deal with New Zealand Internet Service Provider Orcon. This affiliation means Orcon customers will be able to securely share their broadband connections and be part of Tomizone’s global Wi-Fi Hotspot network.

As of Monday 14th May 2007, any new or existing Orcon customer can order a Wi-Fi D-Link router with the free Tomizone software pre-loaded.

Tomizone enables broadband connections to be shared with other users, and provides a revenue sharing model for the broadband subscriber willing to share its connection. Users can can connect to a Tomizone Hotspot for a low cost, while the Tomizone Hotspot owner then gets half of the revenue generated from that connection.

The company is also working to expand its services overseas.
